Arctic Monkeys - 'Settle for a draw'
This is a new song from the Arctic Monkeys, the song gives off a very english feel, the video can be narrative based like most of the Arctic Monkeys so this would mean that the video would have require a focused viewing. The song seems to be about someone trying to get something more than they can realistically get from someone in a higher position than them. Its a good song however, as its not released and won't be untill next year we may have some issue's with using the music. The song includes lyrics such as 'i am just a beginner, but she'll be the only winner' making me think the video is about an argument with a girlfriend, how he is trying to win but he has to 'settle for a draw.' The song includes the name 'Frankie' within the chorus, this is generally a girls name.
I think i've found what i think is wrong with the track... With the introduction and build up to the song, it makes it sound live and with the laid back instrument playing its almost as if they're jamming. Therefore i think we would have to include a lot video footage of us playing instruments and singing etc making the video vastly performance based. What do you think?
